ITINERARY:
1st Day: BRUSSELS – AMSTERDAM
Rendezvous in Brussels, transfer by coach to Amsterdam. Boarding in
Amsterdam between 17h and 18h. Settling into your cabin. Welcome
cocktail and presentation of the crew in the lounge. Dinner on board.
Optional tour of the old city in a motor launch. Overnight stopover.
2nd Day: AMSTERDAM
Buffet breakfast on board. The morning will be devoted to the optional
guided tour of Amsterdam. Exploring the Dam, the Royal Palace, the Munt
Tower, the flower market, the Windmill on the River Amstel… Along the
way, a visit to a diamond cutter's. Back to the boat for lunch. Free
time in the afternoon or departure for the optional excursion to
Volendam, an old fishing village on the shores of the Ijsselmeer, and
the Zaanse Schans, a picturesque village which offers a glimpse of life
in the Zaan region 150 years ago. Back on board around 18h. Free
evening or optional trip to the city centre for a stroll around the Red
Light District.
3rd Day: AMSTERDAM –
ROTTERDAM
After breakfast, departure by coach for the optional visit to
Madurodam, a miniature city famous throughout the world. This is the
ideal place to explore all the sights of the Netherlands in miniature.
You will find everything that makes Holland famous, reproduced in the
slightest detail at a scale of 1:25. During this time, the boat will
sail for Utrecht where you will rejoin it for lunch. Continuation of
the cruise to Rotterdam. Dinner and an evening's entertainment on board.
4th Day: ROTTERDAM –
ANTWERP
Departure of the boat in the early morning for Antwerp, passing
Dordrecht where we will enter the Holland Diep (inland sea) and go
through the locks at Volkerak and Kreekak. We will then sail up the
Schelde/Escaut to Antwerp, one of the largest ports in the world. The
old city has kept the charm of Flemish cities with its narrow streets
and immense squares lined with gabled houses. Dinner on board and free
evening in Antwerp or a stroll to explore the old city in the company
of our hostess. Overnight stopover.
5th Day: ANTWERP –
BRUSSELS
We will leave Antwerp early in the morning. Breakfast during the
cruise. Morning's sailing to Brussels. Lunch on board. We will reach
Brussels around 14h. Afternoon, optional guided tour of the city,
capital of Belgium. The riches of Brussels are infinite. It is a city
of irresistible charms. Combining its Gothic heritage with that of the
Renaissance and Art Nouveau taking in Art Deco, Classicism and
contemporary architecture, it is welcoming and seductive. Dinner and
gala evening on board. Overnight stopover.
6th Day: BRUSSELS
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation at 9h. End of our journey.
