THE BEAUJOLAIS VINEYARDS

coach
through

Beaujolais
vineyards.
Once

reach

Hameau

Vin,

museum
which
is
unique
in
Europe,

wine-making

museum,

theatre

automata
and
a 3D
film.

BURGUNDY AND THE HOSPICES DE BEAUNE

You will
set out by coach to visit the
Hospices de Beaune. Situated at the
foot of the southern part of the
Côte d'Or, the Côte de Beaune awaits
you in all its splendor. You will
then move on to La Roche Pot to
admire its magical castle. This
excursion will include the visit to
the Hospices. A local guide will
show you the great hall of the poor,
the chapel and the apothecary. You
will be offered a wine tasting at
the end of the visit.

THE ARDECHE GORGE
(Afternoon) - Journey by
coach with numerous stops -

You will leave by coach from
Viviers. A stop of around
half an hour is scheduled in
the town of Vallon Pont
d'Arc. The excursion will
continue with a coach tour
of the Ardèche Gorge and the
magnificent Pont d'Arc, a
natural construction 36
metres high. Stops are
scheduled to allow you to
take a few photos of the
landscape. A half-hour stop
at the Sainte Madeleine Cave
will give you an
unforgettable view over the
Ardèche Gorge.

AVIGNON AND THE PALAIS DES PAPES

the guided tour of the old town of Avignon, wonderful,
welcoming and colorful. A guide will tell you of the history
of Avignon and the old town. The excursion will end with the
tour of the Palais des Papes, a veritable citadel perched on

village you will get a magnificent view towards the

THE CAMARGUE
(Morning) - Journey and

You will set out by coach from Arles
for the guided tour of the Camargue. Stops are scheduled
to allow you to take photos of the horses, the pink
flamingos and the bulls. You will then come to the
delightful village of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, famed
for its gypsy gatherings. You will be able to get out of
the coach to visit the little fortified church or stroll
around the village.

VIVIERS

. You will leave
the boat on foot for this guided tour of Viviers. The
third largest protected sector in the Rhone Alps region
and the residence of bishops since the 5th century, a
tour of VIVIERS, a small town of 3,500 inhabitants, is
like visiting an open air architecture museum where each
page of history is inscribed in the stone. You will be
able to admire the smallest cathedral in France in this
wonderful medieval town.

VIENNE

. You will set out
on foot for a guided tour of Vienne. You will discover
the temple of Augustus and Livia in the Corinthian
style, converted into a church, the Roman theatre from
the 1st century AD and Saint Maurice's cathedral in the
Romanesque and Gothic style.

MARSEILLES

set out from the boat by bus to visit Marseilles, a city
which owes its existence to the sea. Your guide will
show you the Canebière, the Vieux Port and Notre Dame de

CLUNY ABBEY

. You will
leave the boat by coach to travel to the abbey. Your
guide will show you around this ancient Benedictine
abbey. This church, with its uncommon dimensions in
terms of Romanesque art, was completed under the abbacy
of Pierre the Venerable and consecrated in 1130. Its
principal architect was Hézelon de Liège. The origin of
its construction is said to be a monk's dream.

ARLES

Roman amphitheatre and then head for the antique theatre
and continue to the church of Saint Trophime. You will
