GENERAL BOOKING TERMS:
These terms govern all bookings placed through EuroQuest LLC's
DBAs web sites
or affiliated web sites or over phone. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates shall in no event be liable to you or anyone else for any inaccuracy, error or omission in, or loss, injury or damage caused in whole or part by, or failures, delays or interruptions of, the content or the website services provided by any combination of the foregoing; and shall in no event be liable to you or anyone else for any consequential, incidental or special damages, including but not limited to any lost profits or trading losses arising out of or relating to the use or inability to use the information or any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on information, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. EuroQuest
LLC and it's affiliates shall not be liable for any failure or delay in
performance of its obligations, which results directly or indirectly from
any cause or circumstance beyond its reasonable control. The following shall
be regarded as examples of such circumstances: outbreak of hostilities,
riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, revolution, the act of any
government or authority, fire, flood, lightening, explosion, fog or bad
weather, interruption or failure of a utility or transport service
(including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications)
renovations undertaken by the hotel or apartment, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, or blockade.
1. Payments Unless otherwise stated, all bookings must be pre-paid by
wire transfers, credit/debit card or EChecks only, so full payment will be deducted from your credit/debit card or bank checking account at the booking stage, this will secure the booking. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates will not accept payment by regular check, money order, or cash. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates reserves the right to pass on any charges relating to returned credit card charge backs. Payment by credit/debit card can be made by all major cards, as listed on the company's website. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates reserves the right to charge you in addition for any handling fees incurred by us in relation to bookings made by credit/debit cards. You will be notified of the relevant charges prior to issue of a confirmation invoice. You and the other members of the party are responsible for payment of any charges made for use of any ancillary services provided by the
hotel or apartment, which are not covered by the quoted EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates room rate. Such services could include facilities such as telephone, laundry service, security safe, room service, newspapers, plus damages and any other fees levied by the accommodation provider for the use of amenities. Therefore, you are likely to be asked to pay a deposit when you arrive at the accommodation, which will normally be applied to a credit card, in order to cover supplementary charges that may be incurred by you during your stay.
2. Personal information EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates take the privacy of its customers data very seriously. When buying anything via the website, we need to collect information about you to process the transaction, fulfill your order and provide you with the services you expect then and in the future. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address, phone number and your credit/debit card details. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.
3. Site use This site is intended to assist you in determining the availability of and booking
hotel rooms, Apartment or Villas rentals, Tours, Excursions, airport transfers and other travel related products. Although EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates make every effort to ensure that our published descriptions are correct, it does not own or operate the
hotels or apartments, Tours or suppliers and cannot prevent or control modifications regarding
hotels Apartments, Villas or Tour Buses. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates therefore reserve the right to change the description of a venue. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates website may contain a plan of the layout of the accommodation. If so, this is based on specifications provided to us by the accommodation providers. The plan will only be a general representation of the accommodation. Actual unit size, design, fixtures, furnishings and facilities may vary from those shown on the plan. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates does not make any warranty that the website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.
4. Supplier conditions Please note that, as between you and any of the suppliers whose services form part of your booking. The supplier's standard terms and conditions will apply. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates acts only as a booking agent between you and the relevant suppliers. The supplier's standard conditions may limit or exclude liability, often in accordance with international conventions. In making a booking with EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates you will be deemed to have accepted the suppliers terms and conditions of trade and you should note the clauses dealing with the cancellation of bookings and limitation of liability. A copy of the supplier's terms can be obtained upon request.
5. Cancellation and amendments Should you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so in writing or by e-mail. However, if cancelling in writing or by e-mail, you cannot assume the reservation has been cancelled unless you receive from us confirmation of cancellation in writing by email. Cancellations must be made with EuroQuest LLC and not the
hotel or apartment as the contract you have entered into is between EuroQuest LLC and the customer. Cancellations sent to the
hotel or apartment are not recognized by EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates. Reservations cancelled 72 hours or more before 2pm of the arrival date are subject to a 30% charge of the total reservation cost. Reservations cancelled 0-72 hours before 2pm of the arrival date will incur a 2 night charge on every room reserved. If a customer "no shows" at the
hotel or apartment they forfeit the entire cost of the reservation. Any cancellations, changes or modifications for bookings falling within special event period will incur 100% charges. The only exceptions to this will be where additional rooms/beds/cots/nights are added to the existing confirmed room or nights. When additional rooms/beds/cots/nights are added to existing confirmations, no amendment charges will apply. Cancellations notified directly to the
hotel or apartment or other accommodation will not be effective. Requests for cancellations and amendments must be made through EuroQuest LLC. Any customers wishing to cancel their reservations 0-3 days before arrival must phone the EuroQuest LLC offices and cancel with a reservation agent. All amendments are always subject to availability. There is a 10/15/$20/AUD25 charge for every amendment you wish to make to your reservation. Amendments must be received by telephone at +1 212-986-3800 during Monday - Friday 10.00 am. - 5.00 pm. USA Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5)
6. Amendments and cancellation by the company
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel
arrangements, but occasionally we may have to make changes and we reserve
the right to do so at any time. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates will make every attempt to notify you of any changes before your departure. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements, you can either have a refund of all monies paid (minus insurance premiums and amendment fees) or accept an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us, if available. Should you choose a refund, this must be claimed outside of 3 days prior to check-in date of the booking.
To protect yourself, we strongly encourage you to take out adequate
insurance in the event that you need to cancel.
7. hotel or apartment dispute Any complaint regarding the
hotel or apartment must be brought to the attention of the
hotel or apartment management as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to EuroQuest LLC. in writing. In the unlikely event that the
hotel or apartment owner cannot provide the booked accommodation, the client understands that the
hotel or apartment owner's responsibility is to find an alternative of at least a similar standard, and provide transportation as appropriate to this alternative
hotel or apartment. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates shall have no liability in respect of any other costs, losses or damages existing out of or in connection with
existing travel arrangements, relocation of accommodation since such relocation is outside EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates' control. - (a) Your accommodation
All successful confirmations will be issued a Electronic Voucher with a reference number, which is shown on the
hotel or apartment voucher provided by EuroQuest LLC. This hotel or
apartment voucher shows the details of the booking made with the
hotel or apartment. It is important that you check the hotel or
apartment details and itinerary are correct to eliminate all possibility of misunderstanding. You must take this with you to the
hotel or apartment. Likewise, if you do not receive a confirmation via email after making the booking, then please contact us. Should you experience any problems booking online, then please use the contact us page on our website, we will be happy to assist with any enquiries. -
(b) Alterations at the hotel or apartment
Should you decide to alter the arrangements at
hotel or apartment, the hotel or apartment will do its best to accommodate such arrangements, but will not be held responsible should they fail to do so.
8. Building work From time to time, renovation or refurbishment and its associated noise are unavoidable at a
hotel or apartment. Often we do receive advance notice of when it will begin, in which case you would be informed prior to making your reservation. If in any case you have not been informed, and we consider the work will have a significant effect on your stay, we will then review the option and do our best to obtain from the venue a partial or full refund but EuroQuest and it's Affiliates cannot be, in any event responsible for noises and associated refunds.
9. Rates All EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates rates are inclusive of taxes, and credit/debit card charges (unless otherwise stated.) Some
hotel or apartments include Continental breakfast. All other
hotel or apartments displayed on our website are on a room only basis and do not include breakfast. Whether a
hotel or apartment contains breakfast or not is indicated next to the
hotel or apartment and on the voucher. hotel or apartments are displayed with the sentence "inc. Continental Breakfast, Taxes & Credit Card Charges" or "inc. Taxes & Credit Card Charges". Rates are subject to change without prior notice and are only guaranteed following confirmation of the contract. 10. EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates star (*) ratings All star ratings are provided by our
hotel or apartment contractors and reflect their opinion of the overall quality, comfort, facilities and service from 15 years experience in the travel industry. They do not automatically mean that a specific facility is present. Our ratings can sometimes be higher or lower than official ratings, since the latter does not reflect the real standard of the
hotel or apartment for bureaucratic or historic reasons. The following is a guide to star ratings on the site.
2* hotel or apartment tend to be small, independently owned properties. There is likely to be a limited range of meals and facilities. All of our
hotel or apartment selection in any categories have a private Bathroom and Shower/bathtub. 3*
hotel or apartment vary from small to medium sized properties offering more extensive facilities. Reception and staff will aim for a more professional presentation than at 2* level, and a wider range of services, including food and drink are likely to be found. All rooms come provided with en-suite facilities. Room service may also be available. With 4*
hotel or apartment there should be a noticeable difference in the degree of quality in the furnishings, decor and equipment. Reception areas will be more spacious than those found in lower star rated
hotel or apartments. Services such as porterage, 24-hour room service, laundry and dry cleaning may be available. 5*
hotel or apartment properties should provide spacious and luxurious accommodation throughout the
hotel or apartment. Flawless attention to the guest's requirements should be provided. 11. Room types The total number of people (including infants and children) using the accommodation must not exceed the maximum occupancy shown on the website, otherwise you may be refused access to the accommodation or charged an additional amount. European
hotel or apartment rooms are often smaller than U.S.
hotel or apartment rooms. The room types used by EuroQuest LLC. are as follows: - (a) Single rooms
Accommodation for one adult in a room with one bed. Bed sizes for this room type are usually "twin" or "full" in European
hotel or apartments and "queen" in American, Asian, and Australian
hotel or apartments. Single rooms and twin bedded rooms for sole occupancy are available in most
hotel or apartments. Single rooms are generally smaller in size and less conveniently located. - (b) Double rooms
Accommodation for two adults in a room with one bed. Bed sizes for this room type are usually "queen" in European
hotel or apartments and "king" in American, Asian, and Australian
hotel or apartments. hotel or apartments often have many more twin rooms than doubles, they may occasionally allocate a twin even though a double room is reserved. If a double room is of paramount importance to you then we suggest that you contact us and we will ensure that this is requested of the
hotel or apartment. In many hotel or apartments, the double rooms are made up of two single beds pushed together to make a double bed. -
(c) Twin rooms. -
Accommodation for two adults in a room with two beds. Bed sizes for this room type are usually "twin" or "full" in European
hotel or apartments and "queen" in American, Asian, and Australian
hotel or apartments. hotel or apartments often have many more twin rooms than doubles, they may occasionally allocate a twin even though a double room is reserved. If a double room is of paramount importance to you then we suggest that you contact us and we will ensure that this is requested of the
hotel or apartment. In many hotel or apartments, the double rooms are made up of two single beds pushed together to make a double bed. - (d) Triple rooms
Accommodation for three adults in a room with two or three beds. Bed sizes and arrangements for this room type are usually three "twins" in European
hotel or apartments and two "queens" in American, Asian, and Australian
hotel or apartments. hotel or apartments may provide triple room facilities, which have foldable or rollaway beds, as opposed to standard single beds. A triple room usually contains 1 Double bed plus a single or rollaway bed or three separate beds, one of which may be a rollaway bed. Either may result in a room of restricted space. - (e) Quad rooms
Accommodation for four adults in a room with two or four beds. Bed sizes and arrangements for this room type are usually four "twins" in European
hotel or apartments and two "queens" in American, Asian, and Australian
hotel or apartments. hotel or apartments may provide Quad room facilities, which have foldable or rollaway beds, as opposed to standard single beds. A Quad room usually contains 2 Double beds, three separate beds (two of which may be a rollaway bed) or 4 separate beds (rare). Either may result in a room of restricted space. Extra beds are provided for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years but the rate does not include breakfast for them. Children over the age of 12 years will be charged as an adult, in which case a triple room rate applies if sharing with two parents. Children under the age of 2 years are regarded as an infant, a cot or crib will be provided at the
hotel or apartment free of charge. 12. Additional requests If you have any additional requests, these will be passed on to the relevant supplier. We will endeavor to meet any special requirements, but cannot guarantee availability.
13. Complaints Any complaint about the online booking or customer service or travel arrangements must be notified by email via e-Customer Service or in writing to EuroQuest LLC PO Box 5209 - Hoboken, NJ 07030 If a problem occurs, while you are abroad, you must inform EuroQuest LLC immediately so that the matter can be resolved. In the event that a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction at the time, you must email or write to EuroQuest LLC within 10 days of check-out date, quoting your original booking reference number and giving all relevant information. Failure to take these steps will hinder the Company's ability to resolve the matter and/or investigate fully and in consequence, any right to compensation you may have will be extinguished or, at the very least, substantially reduced.
14. Behavior It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances all suppliers (e.g.
hotel or apartment managers) and the company have the right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, in which case the company's responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse EuroQuest LLC and it's affiliates plus
hotel or apartment damages for any expenses whatsoever as a result of your behavior.
15. Local Law In some of our featured destinations, local laws and religious observance can lead to the withdrawal of certain facilities. Some examples; in Egypt, visitors are reminded that during the month of Ramadan, local bars and restaurants including
hotel or apartment restaurants change their opening hours so that staff can adapt their eating habits to the restrictions imposed upon them (as per Muslims in general) during daylight hours. Visitors are also requested to refrain from eating, drinking and smoking in public areas during daylight hours. In Sri Lanka, it is common during full moon (Pooya Days) for
hotel or apartments not to serve alcohol from hotel or apartment bars. In this case, it is usually permitted to consume alcohol in your room, but not to buy alcohol from any premises. In Mexico and India, when elections are being held, it is common for all licensed premises to be closed for the sale of alcohol. For the Maldives it is forbidden to import alcohol into the country, but alcohol is for sale in all tourist resorts. In the USA, drinking and gambling laws are very strict. You need to be 21 years of age in order to be served and don't be surprised if you get asked for proof of age (including photograph), regardless of your actual age. To gamble, you must also be 21 years or older. These are just some examples. In general, we request you to respect local people, and be sensitive to local customs and traditions.
16. Travel insurance It is strongly recommended that you obtain travel insurance for medical cover, cancellation, baggage etc. Please note that the sale of travel insurance on the EuroQuest LLC is provided to you by our preferred partner. The contract for this service is therefore between you and the Insurance Carrier on their terms and conditions. Those terms and conditions are provided on their website.
17. Miscellaneous - You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name.
- In order to make a purchase you must be over 18 years old.
- You must make sure that all information you provide to us is true and accurate.
- You must not use the website for speculative, false or fraudulent bookings.
- The transmission of threatening, defamatory, pornographic, political or racist material or any material that is otherwise unlawful is expressly prohibited.
- The site and any content may not be modified, copied or transmitted, distributed, sold, displayed, licensed, or reproduced in any way by you.
- This user agreement is between you and EuroQuest LLC. We participate in the Better Business Bureau's BBBOnLine Program. This means that we have committed to cooperating with BBB efforts to resolve disputes that may arise under this contract. Upon your request, we will agree to participate in a BBB dispute resolution process to resolve these disputes. There are limits as to the kinds of claims that the BBB will handle -- call the BBB for more information. Other than for those disputes resolved through the BBB dispute resolution process, we consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the courts of New Jersey USA.
