Chateau du Fey is situated 95 miles south
of Paris in the Burgundy.
It is a splendid historical monument dating from the 17th
century and lovingly restored by its owner, noted cookbook author
and teacher Anne Willan.. The interior of the Chateau is
welcoming with elegant furnishings and paneling in the main
rooms. The accommodations for up to 16 (double occupancy) are
very comfortably appointed with antiques and floral fabrics,
and all have en-suite or adjacent bathrooms. The chateau has
an all-weather tennis court and a heated swimming pool.
In 2007, La Varenne is
offering a three-day Taste of Burgundy program, a five-day
Master Class, "The Country Cooking of France" .
You'll learn all about French cooking techniques and
ingredients as well as explore some of the local wines, dine
in style at some of France's
finest restaurants in Burgundy

Sunday: Pick up in Paris at 2:30pm. Chateau welcome and
tour. Tasting of artisan cheeses. Le Fey country buffet dinner,
based on local specialties and produce from the garden.
A wide range of interesting wines accompanies all the meals.
Monday:
Sens market visit and shopping.
Lunch at a country inn. Participation class and chef's
table dinner at Chateau du Fey
Tuesday:
Escorted wine tour and tasting in Chablis by wine consultant
Brendan Moore. Market lunch at chateau. In the afternoon,
esteemed chef/owner of the 2-starred La Madeleine in
Sens will present recipes from his repertoire. Champagne reception. Dinner at the
2-star La Madeleine restaurant
Wednesday: 9:30 am departure for Paris.

Wednesday: Escorted wine tour and tasting in Chablis by wine consultant
Brendan Moore. Lunch at
winemaker's bistro in Chablis., La Table de William Fevre. Afternoon visit to the
historic town
of Auxerre.
Chef's dinner at the Chateau du Fey
Thursday: Master class with Anne Willan and lunch at chateau. In the
afternoon, the chef from the starred Domaine de Roncernay
will demonstrate some of his favorite dishes. Champagne tasting and
reception. Dinner at the famed 3 star restaurant La Cote St.
Jacques in Joigny.
Friday 9:30 am departure for Paris.
