People from all over the world come to Provence to savor its celebrated cuisine, but the Chateau de Berne takes it one step further. As a guest at the 4 star l'Auberge, you are invited to live the lifestyle and take it home with you. You'll have an opportunity to learn the secrets and skills of gourmet cooking and experience Provencal life.

Located in a restored country house near l'Auberge, the Cooking School provides all the equipment and facilities you'll need along with a generous dose of charm. Simply step out of the kitchen door to the shaded terrace and gaze over herb gardens, vineyards and olive groves - the perfect inspiration, and ingredients for your culinary creations.

L'Auberge lies just to the north of Lorgues in the heart of the Chateau de Berne estate where 550 hectares of woodlands and vineyards stretch out between the Mediterranean and the Gorges du Verdon. Basking in seclusion, the estate is, nevertheless, just a short drive from the glittering shores and resorts of the Cote d'Azur and St. Tropez.

Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon on the estate. Dinner and overnight at l'Auberge (drinks not included)

Day 2: Breakfast at leisure.

10 am - 1 pm: Cooking class. The result of your day's work will be served for lunch at the

Cooking School, beverages included.

3:30: Wine tour and tasting

Dinner and overnight at l'Auberge (drinks not included)

Day 3: Breakfast at leisure

10 am: Accompanied by the Chef, you'll wander around one of Provence's most famous

markets and learn how to select the finest local produce

Lunch (beverages included) in a typical restaurant in Lorgues

4 pm: Cooking class. The prepared dinner will be served in the restaurant or at the cooking

school.

Overnight at l'Auberge

Day 4: Breakfast at leisure

10 am - 1 pm: Cooking class. The result of your day's work will be served for lunch at the

Cooking School, beverages included.

3 pm: Visit of an olive oil mill

Dinner and overnight at l'Auberge (drinks not included)

Day 5: Breakfast at leisure

10 am - 1pm: Cooking class with lunch including beverages

Afternoon at leisure

Dinner and overnight at l'Auberge (drinks not included)

Day 6: Breakfast at leisure - Departure
