You'll learn the history behind the famous landmarks, including the basilica's Byzantine heritage and the adjoining prisons of the Doge's Palace. Plus, you'll visit the famed basilica of St. Mark's without having to stand in long queues! Leaving the crowds behind, you'll enter a labyrinth of narrow passageways, alleys, canals and delicate bridges. The tour, which comprised of a walking part and a cruise was well organised and both parts stuck to the published schedule.
The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and approachable plus they made the tour interesting with their different styles.
The cruise boat was to a very high standard and made the trip comfortable as well as special.
The tour guides English was impeccable and the pace of the tours was just right.

Our tour guide was amazing she was a native who gave us great tips on where to get gifts, where to eat and most importantly great background on the sites that we visited. If you are in Venice for one day please do this trip.
